This is the sixth MechOwlie that I have created, and she has been named Hygia, named after the Greek goddess of good health, as it was made for an oncologist. She’s got a beautiful antique brass and gold appearance with pretty delicate curls and swirls throughout, and a lil’ cross and heart on her pudgy little tummy.

 

Although this creature looks to be made from metal, it is not - it is completely handsculpted from polymer clay with the addition of a few metal findings. This piece has been glazed with a satin finish for a slight sheen and durability.
